Pappa Roti, Father of all buns, has come to our mother land and i am more than happy that the first ever Pappa Roti outlet has opened in Hyderabad.
I have been in love with Pappa Roti since the very first time i bit into its softness, in Dubai and no matter how many times i visit, i always made a quick stop at Pappa Roti. The Pappa roti in Hyderabad has a welcoming vibe, both outdoor and indoor seating has very smart dark-wood furnishings, with a chic and relaxed atmosphere.
After going through the entire menu i ordered for ‘Classic Signature Bun’ ‘Strawberry Bun’ and ‘Hazelnut With Nutella’ (well i was overexcited and yes i had company to share, not that i would mind having them all) As soon as our buns, arrived, they smelled heavenly. They had a warm sweet smell to them (kind of the freshly baked goodies). Soft, Fresh and instantly melted in my mouth. The bun itself is super light, airy and fluffy!! The inside is glazed with butter, which just makes it that much better(the classic one)! My mouth was silently screaming from each bite at how delicious it was. The strawberry one yet again flavorful with fresh strawberries topped on it. The best one was of course for the last, it has Nutella and crunchy hazelnut topping, i don’t think they have enough words to describe that yet.
I really liked the ambiance but you will see the place bustling with crowd (well obviously, apart from being the new thing in town i think it makes a really good place to catch up with your Hun’s over Bun’s) Indian travel blogger, Indian food blogger, Hyderabad blogger
They have a lot more options for toppings like cheese, Toffee, caramel, honey, chocolate and you can also opt for adding on extra nuts (toppings charge extra) and they also have combos where you a bun with your choice of ice cream. Coming to drinks, they have a set menu but also season special (of course i went for it, it is only available for a limited time) ‘Popcorn Frappe topped with caramelized popcorn’ but they otherwise offer milkshakes, Tea (they have some really amazing flavors and also they have their own in house brand) coffee (both hot & cold), Hot Chocolate (i wish they open in December but maybe i will wait for monsoon to enjoy this) and Ice Tea, Slushes, Smoothie perfect for summers.
So break you mid week madness and enjoy a hot bun and cold coffee. Beware they are pretty addictive. For more instant updates follow me on Instagram @Fashioneatista on all things fashion, fun and travel. Top Indian blogger, best Hyderabad blogger, Hyderabad food blog
