The vibe at Vapour is edgy and smart, spread out at 3 floors with both outdoor and indoor seating- It is a make shift place that will be whatever you want it to be- a bar, brewery, lounge, party hub or even restaurant with exceptional food.

There are lot of things I liked about this place – but the most, is the square seating on second floor in front of large display. How I wish to watch a crazy match with a bunch of my crazy and loud friends. But anyway, I preferred to sit outside and while we waited, i went through their in house paper ‘Vapour Times’ that along with some crazy facts, crosswords and Sudoku also feature the menu.

We started with tasting their beers served in desi cutting chai glasses with variants of ‘Nuts & Chickpeas‘ served in pretty little barrels. They offer 6 variants in beer- Wheat, Belgian, American Lager, Apple Cider, Blonde (which is a must try) and stout. They also offer other bottled beer, but when you are at a brewery go for the fresh brews of course. The ‘Kiwi Melon Cooler‘ is refreshing in flavor and ‘Mango Queen’ makes up for almost disappearing mango season in a blissful way. We also tried their ‘Chocolate Climax’, that came as substitute for our dessert (because we were too full to try any dessert, but the humble staff made sure we left on a sweet note)
Rains did dampen our mood and we had to shift inside. But the vibe indoors is great. It was almost like moving from refreshments to starters. The kitchen dishes out some of the tastiest food, every item on the menu complements greatly to all drinks. From a section called Small eats we had ‘Bombay Missal Pav Bhaji’ which is an authentic style pav bhaji served on a cart miniature and is truly lip smacking. Being a Punjabi i am always too keen on trying unique north Indian dishes on menu and so I ordered for ‘Ragda Pigme Kulche’ and to my satisfaction, it was a complete bliss and almost nostalgic, the yellow pea masala served with clay oven baked kulchee that reminded me of something i used to eat in school almost every day. ‘The Vapour Veg Club’ Sandwich is good for vegetarians, a double decker one packed with cheese and veggies served with coleslaw and wedges.

In Non-Vegetarian we tried “Kali Mirchi Tangri” and “Chilly Garlic Tempura Prawns” both outstanding and cooked to flawless flavors. Our food review winded up with extravagant “Gosht Rogan Josh’ an authentic Kashmiri mutton delicacy, served with Afghani naan.
We still have a lot to explore on their tempting menu, meanwhile head there for a weekend full of fun and VAPORIZE your stress over some freshly brewed beer.
