The Park Hyderabad is situated at an ultra-desirable location, right smack in the middle of where all the bustling activity is! Its strategic location makes it a very popular hotel choice among locals and tourists because there are so many shopping centers, eateries and tourist attractions right at accessible distance.
I have had a goal of travelling a lot this year, it’s like – travelling is the only thing I have been focusing and when I miss a month I indulge in a staycation. Staycations are perfect for a stress-blowing respite from the daily grind especially when you can’t afford the time or budget for longer vacations.
After handing over my car to valet, I was greeted with warm staff who welcomed us with a pearl necklace (so symbolically Hyderabad). We were promptly showed to our ‘Panoramic Suite’ which was simply gorgeous with a 180-degree view, one of the best at The Park, Hyderabad. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows gave the room a more dramatic and posh feel. The breath-taking view of the pulsating skyline of Hyderabad at night and sunlit ‘Hussain Sagar’ during the day was the most calming and enlightening part of my stay.
The luxury amenities offered in these rooms are custom-made, like the on-arrival herbal bath that was prepped exclusively for us at the tub. There were lot of additional amenities put up in pouches for our use which was welcomed, if only every hotel offered it, it would be so easy to not overstuff my vanity. The room has a nicelounge area, a walk-in closet, separate work desk with enhanced lighting just in case you need to pull out your laptop, our mini bar stocked just water bottles, Tea and coffee maker with Typhoo teas to suit your mood, and LCD TV of course.
Besides the hotel stay, we were also welcome to try the dinner at ‘Aish’ which is royally inspired by nizams be it architecture or food. The feel of dining here really makes you feel like a royalty. I absolutely loved the Haleem and especially the plating it comes with. Definitely my favourite Haleem in Hyderbad. Post our early dinner we decided to sit at aqua, where there was live music and people leisurely spending their weekend over beer and even coffee.
The bed was really way too comfortable and we had a really good night’s sleep, we decided to order breakfast in bed. Spoilt for choice we went ahead with a portion of pancakes, dosa, omlete fresh watermelon juice and coffee of course. I was not very happy with the way things tasted, everything had a foul smell of egg and so we just packed our bags on juice and coffee, grabbing something to eat on our way back.
There is a lot you can do at the property, party at Kismat, chill at Aqua, unwind at their luxurious Spa – Aura, just like I did. I really enjoyed every bit of it so I decided to do an exclusive post on it (watch this space)
So, get the most out of your weekend, especially when this year gives you a chance of so many extended weekends and book yourself a visually delightful stay at ‘The Park, Hyderabad’
