Places to visit for year end festivities in Hyderabad

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and by “it” i mean Christmas. Every restaurant, lounge and hotel in Hyderabad is turned into winter wonderland, decked with Christmas trees, holiday windows and Christmas lights. Get your share of merry moments this season, no matter what you are carving or what time of the day it is, I have compiled a list of best places for all times of the day where you can indulge in some good food and even better mood.

Breakfast – Park Hyatt

Whether you are looking for a sumptuous lunch, leisurely afternoon tea or decadent dinner, Park Hyatt rounds up some impressive options for the festive season. However i really love indulging in their buffet breakfast that is served at their ‘Dining room’ right in front of their spectacular in-house Christmas tree that is wrapped in garlands and twinkling lights. And it’s an especially jolly place to visit for a warm breakfast and some time with family. Gorging on amazing spread of breakfast that is a perfect balance of continental and south Indian delicacy and wrapping it up with some almond milk coffee is just great way to start your day this holiday season. So grab a great meal and chase away your seasonal sniffle.

Cocktails– Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre

Now Marriott just dint stop with a Christmas tree, what is even better is s a huge spread of a winter wonderland (all edible) that you have to experience in person. Enjoy the taste of Christmas tradition and brighten your season with some traditional winter cocktails that spark festivity with every sip. Marriott Hyderabad has some exciting drinks to offer, from traditional creamy delight- ‘Eggnog’ (must try), flavorful ‘Mulled wine’ that woes you with its aroma. While summer has sangria, winter has Mulled Wine. It is, without a doubt, the coziest way to enjoy wine during the holidays. ‘Cranberry crush for the ones who prefer something strong and of course the ‘Northpole’, this last one is straight from the winter wonderland and leaves you with some adorable Santa mustache. So grab your friends and head to ‘Altitude’ to enjoy a celebratory cocktail or two.

Hot Chocolate- Conçu

A delicious, traditional hot chocolate is favorite for every winter season and when it is topped with some gooey marshmallows, it cant get better. It is dreamy, creamy and all things chocolate-y! Topped with some fluffy marshmallows on request or even served as it is with a side of shortbread, this indulgent beverage promises to make you feel cosy and fuzzy! It quite literally is warmth in a mug!

Coffee- The Roastery Coffee House

Roastery is full of Christmas splendor. The airy restaurant sets the seasonal mood with wreaths, lights and décor details almost everywhere thought out the coffee house. Cold brew is their signature drink, and i love it to the core. the specialty of this coffee is that it is brewed for 14 hours under refrigerator,  it’s non acidic and comes with a fruity flavor of pomegranate (while you can also choose to go for plain black flavor)

Party- Fat Pigeon

It is by far my favorite party place in the city right now, with amazing music and even better food i couldn’t hep but include it in this list. While the bar hop feature at fat pigeon offers you option to choose from live music or foot tapping beats by the DJ, anything you choose will be great , to kick of the celebrations of the the last week of 2017 with full festive cheer. so be it for a serious steak, or a stiff drink with a friend, fat pigeon is place to be.
