Turtle Neck Grey Dress With Knee High Boots

BeautyPlus_20180114101235_save.jpgOver the knee boots be it, leather or suede, flat-soled or block heels, are not only surprisingly wearable, but are great cold-weather wardrobe staples. Pull them over skinny jeans or leggings, style them with a short dress that falls below the top of the boot, allowing peek a boo of skin between your boot and a short hemline just like mine.

I love a good sweater dress. Whether it is causal or formal, indoors or out, it is good season to rock a sweater dress, either to the office with leggings or over the knee boots on the weekend. If you want your boots to be the primary focus of your outfit keep everything else in your look; accessories and makeup, to a minimum. You don’t want too many things competing for attention.

This oversized turtleneck dress is my winter favourite. It is effortless with style that has equal parts polish and comfort. Even though this outfit is made up of neutrals, I made sure the colours coordinated. Even when wearing all neutrals this is an important point not to overlook. I matched the dark grey turtleneck sweater dress with faux fur bag and boots.

Knit/woollen dresses can sometimes be on two extremes, extremely oversized and very unflattering or form fitting and overly short. Always try on before purchasing it and make sure you have items in your closet that you can pair with it. Sweater dresses are a very tricky item to wear so keep it simple and rock you way thorough winters.
